 Regardless of your level of
play, Northern Dunes Golf Club has everything you could
possibly want in an 18 hole, par 72, championship
layout, including the most northerly 18 hole course on
the Bruce Peninsula. Measuring 6,322 yards from the
middle of the back tee's to the middle of our greens.
The Dunes is situated on highway #
6 just north of Hepworth Ontario, the gateway to the
Bruce Peninsula. |
All
but three of our holes are cut in and around the mature white
pines situated on our property. The native sand in our bunkers
comes from our own property, making it not only appeasing to
the eye but very consistent to play from if you should find
your way into one of the 52 bunkers.
| The
second hole is a par three, measuring 168 yards,
considered our most challenging par three. Hitting from
an evaluated tee to a large kidney shaped green, guarded
on the left side with a large natural pond. This may
sound relatively easy, but stop a second this hole is
right into the heart of the prevailing north west winds.
On a quiet day not a problem, but when the winds are
blowing in from Lake Huron caution to one and all as you
may find that wind stronger than you think. |
 After
your 18 hole adventuring through our links style course our
aggressively friendly staff 'will welcome you to our Dune's
restaurant and patio. Where you will be treated as if you are
a long lost relative. Not only is our food delicious but the
ambiance in and amongst the white pines is breathtaking to say
the least. Once you have experienced Northern Dunes you will
be drawn back again and again.
