Golfing Ontario is on the NET!
May 15, 2000 -- Golfing Ontario President,
Gary Levine, is pleased to announce the beginning of a
third season.
“Our mandate is to market and promote the great sport of
golfing in our Province,” states Mr. Levine. “Many of
our fine courses miss visitors through no fault of their
own. Their business is golfing: our business is marketing
and promotion.”
Through the Golfing Ontario web site, courses large and
small will have the opportunity to have state-of-the-art
Internet pages created and published at very competitive
rates. Upcoming tournaments, events, photographs,
statistics, banquet and important course information will
become instantly available to visiting golfers.
The implementation of an e-mail registration system, will
give visitors the opportunity to request tee-off times,
book tournaments and obtain information specific to their
needs.
Mr. Levine points out that by working together, “and
pooling our resources, we are all stronger.” Golfing
Ontario is sure to have a positive impact on sport:
